Director – Provider Transformation & Strategic Program Delivery
J-00005Fulltime/ContractRemoteYou will lead a $37M provider transformation program covering provider data modernization, system cleanup, process automation and business process change, with completion targeted within the next five months. This is a remote, hands-on leadership role where you will set delivery rigor and governance and align 50–55 Product Owners supporting provider capabilities. It suits an executor who prefers driving outcomes over advisory work.
What you will do
- Lead execution of a $37M provider transformation program targeted for completion within the next 5 months.
- Drive enterprise-wide provider data cleanup and modernization initiatives.
- Establish delivery rigor, governance and accountability where operational discipline is lacking.
- Partner with business, operations, technology and provider network leaders to deliver program outcomes.
- Lead initiatives spanning strategic provider systems, provider data management, provider credentialing, provider contracting (iCertis), workflow automation, process simplification and product ownership models.
- Manage and align 50–55 Product Owners supporting provider capabilities.
- Support national provider growth objectives and provider network expansion, and drive adoption of automation and digital capabilities.
- Remove roadblocks, manage risks and ensure milestone achievement.
What you need
- 15+ years of healthcare payer experience.
- Extensive experience leading large-scale provider transformation initiatives.
- Strong expertise in provider data management and provider operations.
- Strong expertise in claims operations and provider network management.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management (iCertis preferred).
- Experience in business process transformation, provider credentialing and workflow automation.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex, enterprise-wide programs under aggressive timelines.
- Strong execution mindset; hands-on leader who drives outcomes rather than provides advisory support.
- Exceptional communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience managing provider organizations with 100,000+ providers.
- Experience building automation and digital transformation roadmaps.
- Agile product ownership and product management experience.
- Experience operating in highly matrixed healthcare organizations.
Compensation
This is a W2 contract engagement. Compensation is the hourly rate stated above, plus any overtime required by law. No health, dental, vision, retirement or paid leave benefits are offered at this time, beyond what applicable law requires.
