HubSpot Architect
J-00049RemoteChicago, IL / Remote$64 to $91 per hour (estimated)You will lead the architecture of an enterprise web platform built on HubSpot CMS Hub, defining how content, integrations and custom applications fit together. This is a remote W2 contract engagement tied to a Chicago, IL location, suited to an architect who enjoys setting technical direction and working directly with stakeholders.
What you will do
- Define the platform architecture for HubSpot CMS Hub and the broader HubSpot environment
- Develop architecture and migration strategies for CMS and web platform modernization initiatives
- Decide whether business capabilities should be built within the CMS, integrated through APIs, or developed as standalone applications
- Design integration architectures connecting APIs and enterprise applications
- Provide technical leadership to developers and guide implementation decisions
- Explain technical concepts and present architectural recommendations to stakeholders
- Work within Agile and DevOps delivery practices
- Balance competing priorities across concurrent workstreams
What you need
- 8+ years designing, delivering and supporting enterprise web platforms and digital experiences
- 5+ years as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Lead Developer or in a similar technical leadership role
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot CMS Hub and the broader HubSpot platform, or comparable enterprise CMS platforms
- Experience defining architecture and migration strategies for CMS/web platforms and digital modernization initiatives
- Experience designing integration architectures using APIs and enterprise applications
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, REST APIs and modern web application architectures
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have
- HubSpot Content Hub implementation experience
- HubSpot CRM experience combined with another CMS platform
- HubSpot CRM experience combined with Node.js
- Experience with comparable enterprise CMS and digital experience platforms
Compensation
$64 to $91 per hour
This is a W2 contract engagement. Compensation is the hourly rate stated above, plus any overtime required by law. No health, dental, vision, retirement or paid leave benefits are offered at this time, beyond what applicable law requires.
