Lead Software Asset Management (SAM) Technical Consultant
J-00002ContractRemoteUS or Canada SoilYou will serve as the lead ServiceNow Software Asset Management consultant on a part-time remote contract, guiding a customer through workshops, process definition and solution configuration. The engagement runs from October 2026 through early April 2027 at roughly 8 hours per week (194 total hours), so it fits alongside other commitments. You will work directly with process owners, sponsors and product owners to shape practical ITAM outcomes.
What you will do
- Lead and support workshop sessions with customer process owners, sponsors and stakeholders
- Provide prescriptive ITAM/SAM guidance and challenge requirements that do not serve the desired outcome
- Create, refine and rank user stories, and advise Product Owners on adherence to process outcomes and roadmap plans
- Configure the SAM solution and demonstrate it to stakeholders
- Facilitate definition and alignment of current-state processes toward ServiceNow leading practices
- Simplify workflows and provide ongoing advisory support throughout the engagement
What you need
- Lead-level experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM)
- Experience delivering business process consulting (BPC) on ServiceNow engagements
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
- ServiceNow SAM certification
- Experience working in Technology Excellence / ITAM workflows
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Must be located on US or Canada soil
Compensation
This is a W2 contract engagement. Compensation is the hourly rate stated above, plus any overtime required by law. No health, dental, vision, retirement or paid leave benefits are offered at this time, beyond what applicable law requires.
