Lead ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Developer
J-00004ContractRemote$90/hrYou will lead Strategic Portfolio Management development on a long-term remote contract, building out SPM capabilities at the customer's direction. The current footprint covers Idea, Demand and Project, with expansion planned, so you will shape the platform as it grows. Compensation: this is a W2 contract engagement. Compensation is the hourly rate stated above, plus any overtime required by law. No health, dental, vision, retirement or paid leave benefits are offered at this time, beyond what applicable law requires.
What you will do
- Perform SPM development at the customer's direction within the Transformation/SPM workflow
- Build out and configure SPM modules, starting with Idea, Demand and Project
- Support planned expansion of SPM into additional modules and use cases
- Work with stakeholders to translate portfolio management requirements into platform configuration
- Communicate progress, risks and design decisions clearly in English to technical and non-technical audiences
- Work approximately 40 hours per week on an engagement estimated at 1,792 total hours, running from 10/05/2026 to 08/14/2027
What you need
- Hands-on ServiceNow SPM (PPM) development experience
- Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
- SPM (PPM) certification
- US citizenship, working on US soil
- Ability to pass a federal background check
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Availability to complete an onboarding process that takes one to three weeks
Nice to have
- Experience standing up SPM from an early or partial implementation
- Experience expanding SPM beyond Idea, Demand and Project into additional modules
- Prior work in a lead or senior developer role on a remote contract team
Compensation
$90 per hour
